Statement: Color the earth green. To keep the earth away from burning, plant now.

Description:
-my area of choice is deforestation which is one of the effects of global warming. In the very beginning, I’ve created my symbol for assignment 1 and I’ve drawn a tree for assignment 2. And now, I’ve created awareness poster for my final assignment. The message I would like to bring out is “To keep the earth away from burning, plant now”. This statement shows that as global warming getting serious, we, as human being, need to concern and take action to prevent it from getting even worse in future. This shall be started in the young generation. Thus, I’ve chosen a child-like way to bring my message out. “Color the earth green”, in the sense of get started to plant, so that it can lower the temperature of earth. So, what are you waiting for? Let’s us start planting together now, protect our nature.

-the color I’ve chosen for the whole poster is kind of color that we could find in nature. The blue part of the earth that I’ve drawn is sea. On the other hand, I’ve chosen red as the color of the word “green” is to keep people alert about this message, think carefully about what I’m trying to say. The color of the background I’m using is to attract people to look at it.

-in order to illustrate this poster, at first, I insert the picture of a real earth, and then I use pen tool to draw it following the outline. Simple yet still representative. As for the color pencil, I insert the draft that I’ve drawn, and then illustrate it using pen tool too.

step 1: first of all, i insert a picture of earth, to illustrate the earth as part of my poster.

Step2: circle > represent the part of sea
Step3: illuatration of the land part of earth. simple yet representative.
Step4: secondly, i insert my sketch of pencil, to illustrate as a part of my poster.
Step5: color pencil> i choose green, to represent the color of forest.
Step6: creation of my background,

black> to grab people attention to look at it

leaves> to strengthen my area of choice.

Step7: include the statement "colour the blank green", to bring out the message "to keep earth away from burning, plant now".

Step8: lastly, i've included every image that i've drawn and finally the symbol. this is how my poster created.

though this has nothing to do with the topic i'm doing, the design has caught my attention.
caution: if you forget trees, trees will forget you, too. serious.
this is deforestation, not based on global warming, quite a creative way to keep people aware.

Steps of illustrating a tr33

Step 1: include the sketch into AI

Step 2: darken the outline of the sketch
Step 3: drawing and coloring the trunk
Step 4: draw the tr33 based on the sketch
Step 5: illustrate the background, the sky and the ground, using brush tool.
Step 6: putting the finished tr33 onto the background
Last but not least, Step 7: add on some grass and finally the 'deforestation' logo of mine.

Deforestation is the conversion of forested areas to non-forest land for use such as arable land, pasure, urban use, logged area, or wasteland.

Generally, the removal or destruction of significant areas of forest cover has resulted in a degraded environment with reduced biodiversity.

In many countries, massive deforestation is ongoing and is shaping climate and geography.

Deforestation results from removal of trees without sufficient reforestation, and results in declines in habitat and biodiversity, wood for fuel and industrial use, and quality of life.

what is global warming?

Global warming is the increase in the average measured temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-twentieth century, and its projected continuation.

Increasing global temperature is expected to cause sea level to rise, an increase in the intensity of extreme weather events, and significant changes to the amount and pattern of precipitation.

Other expected effects of global warming include changes in agricultural yields, modifications of trade routes, glacier retreat, species extinctions and increases in the ranges of disease vectors.

Remaining scientific uncertainties include the amount of warming expected in the future, and how warming and related changes will vary from region to region around the globe.
